Ok that painting is amazing! I have a friend who is an artist and has her work in several galleries - i had thought about commissioning her to paint my girls - but wow you did the job first!

You guys are so kind, Thanks..I will look for the macro setting..I used to have a kodac that had every setting but really beat it up because I do so much art work for people..I bought a cheap camera at wal-mart and its already broken..Someday I think I will have to break down and get the expensive canon digital, I have an expensive 35MM but its just so convinient to plug and play the digitial..or one like it..Im going to go outside and set it up to take a pic in natural light that will help . I could just upload it to poultry press for them when I get it finished if I could get just the right photo to be used for an add. plus send it to the printers for poster or post cards or whatever they want..I think Jeremy was going to photoshop letters on it for me but Im thinking hes busy so I hand drew some in just to see how it would look in overall design..

I know I LOVE that farm logo , that is such a fantastic little farm..they really took thier time and worked with a good artist to come up ith that logo..tell trinity that they really care about what they are doing and it shows..

Hey all
Not to change subjects - but a while back i had emailed the American Livestock Breed conservancy as i had read an article about how they like to help older breeds - like the Java and the Buckeye. And that they had interest in the Del. Well i emailed and never heard back till today. The person i got an email from mentioned that any breeders should check out the following http://albc-usa.org/EducationalResources/Chickens.html

She
also mentioned a man named Will Morrow - who has been working o nthe Del and gettign correct color - she did give me his contact info if anyone would like it

And she said to let her know if the club starts as she would like to let her membership know as there is increasing interest in this breed

Day 21 today. No pips or activity from my three Dellie eggs that Emily abandoned at the end of Day 16. They were very active over the last two days, at least two of the three were, so I expect them to hatch, but if she let them cool off too long, they could be delayed a day. I don't want that! I want my little chicklets today!
