Barred tail feathers for Roos, and Hens have white laced black tail feather primaries with barred secondaries and coverts.

I'm not sure how to breed for it, I'm gonna be figuring that one out next year, since thats when I'll start the breeding process

Oh no, we can't have that. Maybe they would have some Turkins for ya.

Not sure which would be worse.

I am with you on this one!!

What do you all think of Will Morrow's birds? Didn't realize that was Whitmore Farm when I asked for contact info..I should've though. I have some of his Ameraucana cull stock I got second hand. I found his site while researching the heritage of my birds though.

Anyway, I like the look of the roo, but looks like he has the same hen tail issues as I do...not enough black. They are nice specimens to a large degree though. I can't tell anything about those combs from that pic, but they don't look particularly bad. Here's the link to look at them.
They look like they have good size. Maybe I should invite him to join our club?

The ALBC mentioned that Mr Morrow has been working with them trying to "recharge" the breed - i think it would be a good idea - meanwhile i sent an email back to have our club site posted for others to find!

I have heard very good things about Will Morrow. A guy showing RIR at the show last weekend suggested that I contact him about getting some Delawares in the spring. His birds on the website look very nice.

Hmmmmmm.... It's not showing me as a member either

I received the email confirmation-of-information thingy. O must be missing something somehow somewhere?...
