Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

Here's the new babies! Just got them today...

They are hanging out in their makeshift brooder until they go home tonight!

Look at my new roo. I hatched him from my Holtman roo Little Buddy. I named him the Skipper.
Of the 20+ roos I hatched in October-November, he was the very best. He was 7.25lbs at 18 weeks! Even bigger than his daddy.

He has no bent toes, or split wing, but he does have an extra point or two on his comb, and some extra barring on his body. But all in all, a nice looking boy. And big!
Since I finally have more than 2 Holtman hens laying, I posted up some eggs for sale. But not from the Skipper yet. I haven't hatched any of his eggs yet. I just put him in my layer pen for now, with 10 of his sisters and a bunch of sex link hens. I can't wait to see what happens when I hatch a clutch of eggs from that flock.

I can't find the extra barring. Where is it? I do see that he doesn't have much wing color.

Nice bowl-shaped body, beak, wing carriage, tail barring, leg color; seems like a great guy! Well, I can't see the leg color since the pic is shady, but it seems like it would be from the color in the shade.

The first thing I noticed is those extra come points. How old is he? Not quite a year? Looks like that from his spurs, to me.

By the way, these are just what I assume of him.

Okay... I don't get this. For the female SOP for Delawares, it says under comb:

Single, moderately large, well developed, set firmly on head, perfectly straight and having 5 well defined points, those in front and rear smaller than those in center, blade smooth; inclining slightly downward, but not following the contour of the neck too closely.

YET, this is what the picture is... See the floppy comb in front, or is it just me?

I kept three girls that were best for size and tail color. One is from your Holtman line, two
from your Bradens.
I love these birds...that boy comes to stand in front of me to have his chest rubbed
