Does anyone on The Delaware forum live in North Carolina? If so, do you have eggs you would sell?

Depends on where you live in NC. I am 8/10 of a mile from the NC line in GA and I can have some for pickup in a week or so, but if you are in eastern NC, that's a bit far to drive (though someone who shall remain nameless did drive down from Massachusetts to pick up Del eggs from me once) You should put this on 'Items Wanted to Buy' here on BYC.

Craig- I agree with Rustyswoman, Speckledhen has beautiful birds, and I love my little Dels I got from her a few weeks ago.

You will be about 5 hours away from her at the most- I live a bit west of Asheville, and made it to her place in about 2.5 hours -PLUS it's a beautiful drive-even at this time of year!!!!

If that is too far for you, and you can wait till spring, I might be able to help you by then.

Kathyinmo- a Christmas hatch!!!! That is great- congrats!!! What are the bonus eggs? Orps?

Ke-ben, can you post your hens? I would love to see them.

This will be my first hatch in the Sportsman. I also have 28 BCM eggs in, and tomorrow will add 12 White faced Black Spanish (jumbo sized eggs). I thought they would be here today, but appears they will be a day behind. Oh boy, another staggered hatch!

ke_ben those white spots most likely are calcium deposits. It happens and is not cause for real concern.
