Yes, on Thursdays I am, usually (have to watch "Survivor" from the west coast on th computer) However, my normal bedtime is before 10 p.m.

On occasion, I get white spots on eggs, though not usually my Delawares. Sorry, I skipped your question. Thanks, Cetawin, for catching that.

Kathinmo,
You are going to be one tired, albeit happy, chickie mama - good luck!

Cetawin - Buckshot has now figured out how to crawl up my arm, under the brooder top, out and up to my shoulder. . . . .your Dels mindspeaking my Dels???

Can Delawares be sexed at hatching? Seems I read that the roosters had black dot on thier head or something.

So funny you mention that. I don't watch TV, EXCEPT for that show! That is the only program that DH and I sit and watch together. Love it! I wish they would have one for age 50 and older only! Wouldn't that be fun?

for now here is an old pic of most of my flock, missing from this photo is the light Del pullet and one of the RIR girls. the EE thinks they are her babys.

we are hooked on "Survivor" this year too, never watched it befor.

Here are some pics of my guys that I took today. These are the Dels that my husband drove 1972 miles from MA to GA to get from Cynthia. Some of the Dels in some of the pics are from a group of eggs I ordered from ebay. The ebay seller is from PA and got her Dels from a breeder in Delaware.

the 2 in this pic are 10 week old pullets. The one on the left is from GA, the one on the right is from PA

these are 2 of my favorite GA roos. I love them all, and I'm not counting anybody out just yet, but these 2 are the front runners that I am watching closely how they develop

This next pic is one of my fave GA roos (on the left) and a PA roo for comparison (on the right)

The last pic is a group shot in the coop. The very lightly marked pullet in the front is from PA

And please ignore the mud on my Del kids. It has rained here every other day for a week.

ETA: the group shot in the coop is only of half the group. I have 22 Dels in total in with 3 BBS Orps and some Ideal Hatchery EE's, Barred Rocks and Brown Leghorns
