For the life of me I cannot figure out how she did it or find what she did it on?

She is acting fine and wandering around the garden...no one is bothering her at all.

It looks like she skinned her nose (errr beak). Probably out being nosey! Isn't it kinda like a fingernail? I would bet it would heal up and be ok. What about using superglue? I did read where someone used superglue on a beak before.

I have thought about that too but it is so close to her nare...one move and I have superglued her nose shut.

Not to mention that stuff burns like blue blazes...I have an SOS out in Cyn's mailbox and as soon as my DH and MIL shut the hello up I can call her and panic.

Okay so the treatment plan set out by Vet. Cynthia hehehehe is doggie crate in Cheyenne's room, soft food, antibiotic ointment and vitamin E for a couple of day.

The "crack" is more like a cut and none of the injured portions goes all the way through and the beak is secure and not wiggly so

hopefully it starts to heal.
