I think I got a black and 2 blue Orp. I have 7 total of the Ameraucanas and Orps. There are 3 of one, and 4 of the other. Now I am confused. As soon as I can get these last 3 out, I will be able to figure it out!

Laney, you were busy moving today, too! I also moved a bunch out of the garage brooder, and into the breeder barn brooder. I moved Ms Broody and her 2 chicks into the rabbit hutch type coop, with a light. I am gonna give her these other 2 Silkies in the morning. They are being slow about recovering from the hatch.

All in all, it has been a busy weekend for me! AND, still lots more to do. DH worked on his pickup for 2 full days. Oh why, oh why he won't pay a mechanic to do it, I don't understand.

they start slower than the Dellies laney but man they catch up and surpass the Dellies in size pretty quick.

Yours and my Thor and Athena would technically be siblings.....Smoky is mama to my two also. And of course, there can only be one daddy....the Suedenator himself.

Believe it or not, the Orps often seem smaller than the Delawares at hatch, but they bypass them soon.

The orps feather slower too...my dellies were sprouting tails and the orps were still fuzzyballs.

Cetawin, I've seen pictures of Thor before but I just gotta say that he is HUGE!

He makes my Cuckoo Marans roo look like a bantam! L0L. I still think your blue Orp Athena is prettier though...

Everybody else... no more baby pictures!! Evil, evil women torturing me having to see all the adorable fuzz butts while mine are still cookin'.
