I am in Sadieville, North of Georgetown.

The move was due to my husband becoming an instructor at the Army Cadet Corp in Millersburg, KY. He has written a Ranger program for the Cadets for this summer. So we moved during our daughter's Spring Break.

Isn't this is a beautiful specimen for an Olive Egger! I hatched her from Wynette.

Another picture, just last week, even more beautiful!

Yesterday I was outside messing around, and I saw Miss Olive checking out the nests ...

First this one ....

Next, this one .... (self made nest on the floor under the nests)

THEN ..... this!

Darn, I can not get a good picture of the color. Believe me, it is nice and dark olive!

Miss Olive was hatched on Halloween (from one of Wynette's eggs), so she is 23 weeks old (and so beautiful!)

I just had to show you all this.... Thor and the girls are out right now and they made a dust hole....Thor wanted in it himself so he got in it....watch the pics as he gets Athena out of the dusthole in a very unique way.... LOL

Athena tried to remove Thor in the same manner which did not work for her...

Here is Cannonball's comb from fighting with Fattie...and her two new chips in the beak she is gonna be the death of me

Look at Cannonball's perfect 5 point comb! How the heck did she get more chips in her beak? From the fight with Fattie?

I love watching them all in a dust bath! It is just too funny the way they get under the one they want booted out!

Miss Olive is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!! Kathy, she is one stunning chicken! What are the parents? You are really getting one heck of a flock going- I think I want all your culls. Except the Turkens, remember. Oh no, wait, no more new breeds this year! I almost forgot.

Cetawin, Thor is one funny, adorable boy. Only Thor would think of that way of booting Athena out of the hole! Hopefully Fattie and Cannonball will settle down soon- How is Severus?

Cynthia, she can't call you about the Butthead Bantam, she has to tell all of us!!!!

I am now wearing sunglasses for the rest of the day after seeing the Awful Yellow Kitchen.

Kathy I think she is chipping on the hardwire cloth, trying to be nosey. Not from Fattie, those fights leave them both with bloody spots on their combs.

Thor has been in that dusthole for over 30 minutes now....LOL

Beth Severus is wonderful. He was out yesterday afternoon with his girlies.

Butthead Bantam drew blood with those spurs this morning. When he attacked me I did not see him I just felt it and I grabbed whatever was attacking me....I just happened to get him by the neck and I snapped it several times like a bullwhip. The mean little toerag! I buried him before Cheyenne even woke up. So far no one has come looking for him but thank goodness it was not their big RIR rooster. That would have hurt bigtime.

Since this is the Delaware thread, here are a couple pics of my sweet Isaac I snapped awhile ago. Those witches pulled out lot of his beautiful barred hackles as well as keeping his comb and wattles bloodied. Those will take awhile to grow back, but you can see that his beautiful comb and wattles are healed (except for a small spot he snagged somewhere on the fence--his current women are very nice to him) Below his pics are pics of Nugget and Riley, both driving me crazy with their semi-broody behavior. Ladyhawk heard Riley growling on the phone yesterday, LOL. That pesky white sickle feather makes me want to pluck it for him. Grrrr.
