He's my angel, next to Zane. Suede is sweet, but those two are really affectionate.


BTW, Ivy may be going to that Great Roost in the Sky soon. Found her sitting on the ground with Lexie snuggled up next to her. Ivy's comb and wattles were purple and she was breathing with difficulty, beak open. Lexie kept looking closely into Ivy's face and stayed close by her. It was obvious that Lex knows that something is terribly wrong with her sister. Ivy is still walking and drinking, though not eating much anymore. We'll miss her, but I have her daughter, Fern, and her granddaughter, Barbara. Ivy and Lexie are over four years old now, my first Barred Rocks.

Well, I removed my young Del roo Kermy from the Del pen due to his personality. He was overly attentive to the ladies and it was causing problems with the two roos together. I added him to my mixed Juvie pen that just went outside without lights. When I went out tonight to close everyone up for the night I found Kermy in the corner looking about 2X his normal size. When I got closer I saw tons of little heads peaking out at me from under his wings and feather to see what I was doing. He looked like a giant broody hen. Now that's a good Del roo.
