All my Delawares are crosses now. Isaac has Buff Orps, Lt and Buff Brahmas and one black Orp hen with him, plus two EE hens, so no pure Dels. My Delaware hens are with my BR rooster, Dutch.

Well, since everyone else is saying how long they've been married, we are 34 years now. Oh, wait, how can that be when I'm only 35 myself???

It's pouring rain. My birds didn't get out at all today.

The meeting in Hayesville was sort of skimpy, member-wise. Everyone was afraid of the rain, which held off until 12:30, thankfully.

Kathy, I'm on the last leg of the purple and gold quilt, one side is bound already. Do you mind if I put your name with mine on the back when I sign and date it? After all, you pieced it all except the last border!

Oh, forgot to say that your Stella has an awesome comb! Isaac's influence is pretty strong in that department!

Well, where was I when the Stella pics were passed out? I had to go looking- I thought I had read that post, but I guess I missed the bottom part. She DOES have a great comb, and looks like a sweetie, too. Ike should be proud!!!

My older son gave us a hard time when we moved back to Ga after our last stint in Utah with the Air Force. He kept running around muttering, "Inbreeders!".
