That cat is a mess. But she came running by today all proud of herself with a mouse so...she can stay, mouse and sleep in the milk crate in the barn.

If she is still here in a month or so, I will take her in for a check up.

Helllllllooooooooooooo everyone!! Again, I've been gone for... ever. So I thought I would check in, say I'm still alive and all that good stuff. I have 12 Del babies from my own birds to see if Legs' good parentage might change up the babies, but so far... no. But oh well. I'm thinking of contacting shelleyb about some. What do ya'll think?

I hope everyone is doing well, all over. The weather here in Oklahoma seems to be on a constant PMS issue. I thought about dissolving some midol in some water and setting it outside, but then I felt rediculous.

Pet container? you mean the doggie playpen? if so, it works great except for my flyer (a very spoiled EE) They have them bigger to0 mine is only 3 - 4' tall and about 5-6 feet octagon

Kathy, Luna is my Splash Standard Cochin that I want to use for my curiosity project....a splash feathered legged, feather footed big ole girl/boy. Luna has the greatest foot feathering in the world, she has from day 1. I just love my two cochins, Luna and Ruby who is a red. They are both in Thor's harem though Ruby is smaller than Luna. Right now Luna is just warming to Thor she still will not let him mate her.

Oh, I love those cochins, too! I have 6 or 7 of them in the layers coop. I have no roo though. They are soooo fluffy and sweet! My light colored broody is a cochin. Wonder what her eggs would hatch to be, since I only have Marans roosters in that area!

Delgirl!!! HELLO!!!! I was wondering if you had been buried in a bookslide, or if you were just busy hatching- why don't you like your new Del kids? How old are they now? I think Shelleyb's are supposed to be very nice birds. Her pictures are good!
Racoons....too bad they are so cute and can hide all their nastiness behind those little masked faces - tell the crows to go look for your necklace, they might be more cooperative!
The weather here has been hot and muggy, it finally broke during the night and I am getting a much needed (I can't believe I am saying this after the winter past) rain- are you going to study all summer?

Ceatwin, ALL PUSSYCATS deserve to come in the house when they wish- it's part of House-Mouse patrol, and I am totally on Cheyenne's side.

Kathy, I tried that link and it not only wouldn't open due to some message or other about the program, and it froze my computer.

And have you tried the Delaware club sight lately? It seems to have disappeared, my computer can't come up with it. It may have been there, or somewhere else that Cynthia knows about, because she was on it, but there were a bunch of Del breeders, with PICS of their birds, including Janet, I think. I have never been able to find it again.

Hey, Cynthia and Scott, are you getting this rain? Did you get any of the storm system? I missed that part. Haywood county is under a flood watch till 9:30 am, but I think I am at the wrong end of the county to get the bad part of this.

DH is starting to tell people that we are probably going to add meaties and turkeys to the menagerie here. Shock!!!!! I guess that means I can go ahead with another coop???? I asked him about ducks last night, and he said to go ahead and get what I want. Must be that the trout and fresh asparagus I cooked up was a good negotiating tool, huh?
