Gosh you bunch of old cronies....I am approaching a mere 29 years old... *cough choke cough*
for the 18th time
My Dellies, cochins and Thor are furious with me....I made them stay inside the new digs all day. One because it was raining and messy outside and secondly, I want them understanding that is where they are supposed to go. They do not understand that and are plotting my demise....I am sure of it.
Cheyenne had her spring concert tonight with the new school band....she did good. There was a small mistake when playing the Pirates of the Carribean fight scene theme...but they did excellent with some difficult pieces. They played the Can Can, Eye of the Tiger, I Got A Feeling, The Blues Brothers Greatest Hits and various theme music from the Pirates of the Carribbean.
Cute thing...they freaked out the band teacher. The little snots in the Sax section (3 boys and her) decided to dance while they were doing the heavy sax portion of the Blues Brothers song "Soul Man". The 4 of them bounded out of their chairs and started getting down going from left to right....threw the teacher for a loop...she was laughing and trying to conduct...after they finished she said...A special round of applause for my booging Sax section. The 4 stood up and bowed. hahahahaha And guess whose idea this was to do the dance....my daughter's of course.
Gloria Jean,
Your hatching nightmare has moved here! My 2 broodies are due (I forgot the exact date). Today I found a bloody eggshell with a fully formed chick (yolk absorbed) outside the nest of one of them.
I don't know if the broody did it, or if it was hatching. She has all Delaware eggs beneath her. I checked the other eggs, and saw no pips. This is from one of my big fat cochin girls. I don't know what to expect tomorrow. Each broody has 6 Delaware eggs (if I remember correctly).
I AM INNOCENT DANG IT!!!!! But she is my child so it does not surprise me whatsoever.
But I said nothing because I had no idea what they were playing until I got there this evening....ya'll are always jumping to the conclusion that I am the one stirring up trouble and I did no such a thing.
Not this time anyway
*had I known they we were playing Soul Man I would have taught her a dance routine with the sax though*
