PopcornPuppy....I like Johnny the best I believe. He has real presence and pride in his stature. I think you should send Ben my way.

As for the yellowing...my 4 year old son loves to feed our Dels cracked corn. And when he does that for a couple of days, my Del roo turns into a yellow mess. Feeding of corn (or even high corn content feed) along with all the dust bathes makes for one not-so-appealing rooster. But I know what's underneath, so it doesn't bother me. Eventually all of the yellow goes away...whether by grooming himself or molting. If your Dels don't have the yellow tint as youngsters, then I really don't think it's something to be highly alarmed and cull for. That's just my experience and opinion, though.

As a matter of fact I would, before I got married. Unfortunately I'm married and my wife won't allow it. Which begs the question "you knew I wasn't sane when you married me why did you?" She says we have a strange and wonderful relationship. I'm strange and she's wonderful.


Not really but I did ask tell the lady in the candy store passing out Lindt truffels that I suffered from multiple personality disorder and could I have one for each of us. She said no. So we had a fit. Ok the fit part isn't true but the rest is.

I saw one of Isaac's brothers for sale on the feed store bulletin board. At least, I think it was. I gave away the last two culls to one guy. The flier said he was a year and a half old, which Isaac is.
