Ha! I knew she'd want some!!!!

I also have a young Del roo ('bout 4 weeks old) that I saved from Mammy when she hatched him....you outta take him too. Pepper (my Del roo I got from Cyn, brother or half brother to Issac) would simply not allow another Del roo to be around. He is SUPER sweet to us, but pretty territorial about his women

I need more boys like I need a hole in my head. Hey Scott, since you are a rock person..........interested in a big Blue Barred boy and his blue girl and splash girl?

How old are they now, Amy? About 8 months?

I REALLY appreciate the offer....I currently have a blue pullet growing out, along with a solid blue roo. Blue barred kinda messes me up as blue barred roos will throw blue BARRED girls. That blue girl is really nice looking!! Good size, much better than my 2. Almost looks "orpish" she is so big.

I also have 2 grown blue, 2 grown black and 1 grown splash girl that I will be using with my Splash roo, Patch, this Fall. I probably better stick with what I have right now

I have about 25 "breeder quality" Barred Rocks, and 1 white rock pullet, growing out too that I will need to cull down to 2 trios in another 6 weeks or so

If I build that monster coop it will be this winter when it aint hot...space is kinda cramped right now, but thank you again

Oh now see NellaBean did not show the pics of the blue and splash girl before last month swap...what's up with that?

No no I really cannot....do not need rocks...I am only going to keep my bantams, LF orps and Cochins...no no do not need those.

*walking away now while covering my eyes*

What do you all think of this little coop for bantams? With a little modification it would be great. Check out the link in his add...the 8 sided one looks like a nice choice too.

I could modify it and not have to build the thing myself. hmmmmmmmm

The blue and splash girl have to go with my big Blue Barred boy. But he is a GREAT rooster. and I know how you like roosters! He breaks up fights between the girls and does a great hawk call. I would keep him but I like fluffy legged boys

That is a Jersey Giant cross hen in front of him and a RIR hen behind him, for size reference....he gets bigger by the day!

When I added two new girls to the flock recently, one was picking fights with EVERYBODY....the girls would be flared and staring each other down...Mr Blue Barred would just calmly walk over and stand between them, then drop his wing and dance at the new girl, so she would walk away. Really good boy.

Go for it, LadyHawk, it's alot easier than construction! They look very nice.

Beth, the boys are looking better and better every day, I think. Note:wing carriage is better than the picture shows. It is hot and they had their wings out.
