Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

Hillbilly- Fergus especially is looking good- any way you could get a full body shot of him from the side?

Kathy, do you have to wait a full two weeks once you worm for the eggs to be fertile again? Is that with all wormers?

Yes Laura, can you post another picture of Finn from the side? I think I like him best, simply because he likes to cuddle!

And we all know my weakness for roosters who like to cuddle!

Both are beautiful though. I think I'd start spending some serious quality time with Fergus to encourage him to be a cuddler too!

His tail is very nice and looks like more of what one would want in their breeding program.

Amy likes Finn, and I like Fergus.....

I think I could convince Fergus to be a cuddler too, Amy.

Beth, I don't know .... I just read on a couple websites that you should not hatch the eggs, but only because you may not get as good a hatch, I believe. I will experiment then .... I will collect the eggs for 3 days and stick them in the bator and see!

Beth, did you say it took 2 months for Lizzie to recuperate with her gimpy leg? This is the girl that jumped off the 8 ft roof and hurt her leg. I have her in a small pen, to keep her from using her leg. I am keeping her in the Delaware pen, so she can still see the others. I dunno if it will work or not. Advice, anyone?

Thanks y'all. I will try to post some more pics within the next few days. My doctor yelled at me and said that I have been doing too much. But it's summer and there is so much that needs to be done. I think now summer is over.... we had a temp of 39 degrees this morning.
The reason Finn cuddles is because I moved him to the bigger coop but every evening when I go close up for the night he is back in the old coop so I have to carry him to the new coop. I think he is starting to get the message though because he has gone there on his own a couple of times.

Very nice pullet, my pullets from Bill all look similar, they're growing like weeds right now.
Everyday when I go outside I'm amazed at how much bigger they are.
