Nice pullet, Har - looks like the right shape will be there- how old is she? Tail black is there, wing set is very nice- plus she is just a pretty little thing!
Kathy - Yup, it took Lizzie a couple of months, but she may have been worse- your girl is standing upright, and that is a good sign. Lizzie could hardly stand at all, and when she tried to walk she had to walk on her hocks for several weeks. She mostly laid still and watched the world and ate scrambled eggs.
The reason I asked about the wormer/fertility thing is because I have promised eggs to someone on the 18th and then at the end of the month, and I really want to worm NOW.
I already have one Gimpin' Glenda penned with a hurt leg from jumping off the 8 foot building ..... now another dare devil is doing the same thing! First she got up on top of her 5 ft tall coop, and then got up on the 8 ft tall one next to it ....

I've never had any problems with Valbazen and hatching eggs..It's been years since I've used Ivomec but I don't recall having any problems with it either..I know Sulmet will effect hatching eggs for up to two weeks..
SOOOOO, I guess it would be fine to incubate and hatch!

We just hatched out some chicks of theres the other day, but so far there are 4 chicks and 2 of them are whiteish red and two of them are black with silvery backs.
I think my barred rocks got in there.... oops.
I was told by a breeder that some hatchery Dels were crossed with Production Reds, not just Columbian Rocks, at some point back in time, so could be some of that showing through, I guess.
