Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

If Emily can just get the hang of this broody thing, they should hatch just fine, LOL. She moved them all out of the nest and onto the floor and since I removed the two EE eggs, she seems more comfortable. Big as she is, she should be able to handle a dozen!

I miss my Ruthie!

She passed away suddenly last month. : (

I would love to have another Delaware but cant find any.

Delawares are such great birds and VERY Beautiful!! Ruthie was lovable and Beautiful!
She had sas and ruled the coop. She had bad legs from hatch.
She is post #6208 on page 621. The day we got her.

She transformed once we got her home and pampered her.
She gained weight and filled in, grew beautiful feathers and just looked happier and healthier!

I miss her greatly!! : (

Just taking the time to cruise through this thread again. The Delaware thread is such a happy place, thank you all who contribute here.....this thread is like a walk in the park.......and long hot bath with a glass of wine......a place to come when you need to smile.
