Those are my favorite pics of all time, Kathy. I never tire of seeing Jacob looking just like his regal sire, Ike.

Here is my latest Delaware, just over two weeks old. I have 7 Delaware eggs in the bator, too, all from my Georgie:

Poor Rexx, he's got some worrisome spots on his comb, so today we gooped it up with Nu-Stock (a sulfur/pine oil/mineral oil mix). Apparently that tickled... poor guy was mincing around shaking his head and looking very undignified. He hardly objected at all to being picked up, though. (Not like Chester, the Partridge Rock - man, did he make a fuss!)

Did you see the last lil guy get "pecked" on the head? He's got hormones raging already, and has a thing with biting!

Its funny, but he does get the head peck from me and comes to his senses

Oh, that crow wasn't the Delawares... I think that was Chicken Nugget, my mystery Roo or possibly the nasy frizzle polish roo,

They were NOT happy to be disturbed, but, eh, I had to lock up and collect eggs for the night

None of those boys have started crowing yet, that I know of, they still peep like chicks

Though they do that soft whisper voice to me when I pick em up
