No, no green legged girls here. They're all yellow, but they have faded quite significantly now that they're laying consistently again.
The girl on the far right and the girl on the bottom left are both hatchery Dels, from Privett. My other hatchery girl, Yvonne the Del I posted a picture of a few weeks back, is to the left of this picture just out of the frame. She didn't want to have her picture taken apparently.
Those three hatchery girls were my original chickens, along with 5 others. They will be 3 years old this April and still lay everyday for me.
The things that I'm unhappiest about concerning the Braden Dels are funky combs and pinched tails. Not to mention when they lay an egg do they ever "sing" an egg song, they are SO LOUD. Louder than any of my other chicks. Those five girls could raise the dead!
