I typically have troubles getting a correct image showing the coloring of this pullet's hackles. She is 13 weeks old. They usually look too dark, but turned out correct this time, I believe. They might be a little too dark. What do you think? The pullet to the left of her certainly has hackles that too dark by far. I don't think they're too dark at all, just not the best example of barred hackles. They're a bit streaky. They sure look better than her mother's!

Well onto more photos. These are all of the same pullet, the one that I had the hackle question about. I love her yellow legs! She had a long feather on her tail that curved around... It was solid black and beautiful. But it got loose so I plucked it. Hope it grows back soon. She is a sweet one...
