Wonder if any of my boys will be even close?

Well for a hatchery bird, ( came from Purely Poultry) he is a nice boy with good shape, good leg color, decent comb, and size, at last weigh in he was at 8.9 lbs. he is a year and 3 months now, still a very sweet rooster, not a mean bone in his body, I'm not so happy with the yellow feathers, my neighbor says he's a blonde.Like me ..LOL when he's done molting and has his new feathers I will take some new pictures I'm hoping some of that yellow leaves with the molt, this is his first real molt he looks ridiculous with no tail.....he was a late May or June baby last year so never molted in the fall Just the baby molts as he grew. He looks absolutely huge next to my EE rooster who weighs maybe 5 lbs........ and was almost as big as my Fred WW, who weighed 10lbs when I sold him with 6 of his hens a few weeks ago..... he might still fill out a bit more, he is doing the rooster shuffle alot, he has 31 girls in his pen...... LOL and only 3 Dels.......... had alot of boys this year in my 2 test batches. and lost 3 pullets in the bator. at least I think they were pullets, by the fluff they appeared to be..
I want some nice pullets for him, his sisters and my new pullet from Jim do not have enough Black in the tail or neck like the last pullets pictured by ? can't remember..sorry, they also have pinched tails......except...... my New girl is now 22 weeks and not yet laying, but her tail appears to be more open, just wish it had more black. Will see what I can find for good stock next year or maybe yet this fall I seen a couple pretty nice pullets at Jims a few weeks back, and am hoping they are not the one's he sold yet........... keep your fingers crossed.
I do however have a couple real nice boys from Hansom if anyone would like 1.....who is close. They are in the butchering pen cuz I don't need 2 roos of the same breed just yet............ plus I would like them to be an un related one when I do keep an extra. Now I have a question how long do most of you keep your favorite roos....?? do you always use the same rooster over new hens or do you have several to use? I have 1 in that pen who looks promising, but he is not so nice to the other roos, not mean but not real friendly with ppl either, but has never been with any hens so not sure about him........ Kim

Well he's 17 weeks so he still might fill out a bit more, It does look like he still needs his feathers to fill in a bit more in the saddle.

If it ever stops raining I'll go out and snap a few pictures.

I have 3 pullets, none are great but they're what I have to work with. Plenty of black in the tails but they're all pinched to varying degrees. One had green legs as a chick but they seem to have yellowed as she got older. My next round I'm going to cull green legs but like I said they're what I have to work with at the moment.
