Well it all depends in the quality of fowl you got for example you buy 2 law grey trios from two different farms and you can have one top quality and the other one totally opposite. But if you only have a trio of greys and one trio of hatch I would recommend you first get some pure breeds out of them and then cross between batches, or you can put your hatch directly with the hens you have now. (But unit you have your pure ones) Depends how many you want and how many you CAN take care of (that's very important)

I have 2 pr high noon hatch and 5 law grey hens 1 cock.i hatched 17 laws last week end. Wanted to try hatch x laws, pumpkin x laws, and blue x laws

No. What I'm saying is that the cock is from slick lizard but I'm not sure if it's a sweater. The hen it is a pure sweater, i got her straight from slick lizard.

Since he's from slick lizard i'm sure he can tell you exactly what he is by his markings .

Funny.! That's the first thing I did. I even send him a pic & wing band #. He said looked like a sweater but he wasn't sure because his phone was little and old and he could barely see it, and he was very busy he hadn't chance to check it out at that time. So I stopped at that point. So I'm not sure. I really don't care I like that color anyways if he's not pure at least half sweater because I'm getting pea comb from that pair.

I understand he's a busy man and a bussines man.

He could well be sweater and have the white showing as sweaters are mostly kelso blood (they will come with white) .

Sure why not. I only have 5 so far 2 are like a week old and 3 only 3 days old and i have more hatching. If you want to wait till i can tell males from females so i can send you A trio.
