The cocks from that cross may look similar to a red pyle, but the hens will not. Butchers and Lacys are wheaton birds and you need a b.b. red to make red pyles.​

Since I have other breeds which are docile, Barred Rocks and Marans and they all free-range I was afraid that this little Oriental Game would grow up and terrorize and kill My Rock and Marans roosters, so I was thinking about rehoming him. As I said, everyone free ranges, and they have 40 acres to do it, though I doubt they range over 2 acres. There are 2 coops about 100 feet apart and the games roost in one and the Rocks and Marans in the other.

My question is, since they are not confined together and they have plenty of space will the lone game rooster still hunt down and kill the others?

By the way, here is what they look like. They are 5 weeks old. Do you agree they are a trio?
