Out of 11 eggs I'm down too two eggs I don't know why the hen is breaking them she is laying on them but when she gets up I see less so am assuming she won't have chicks
 
In the old days we called these a Battle cross I don't know what you call them now


Noob here.... Could you explain? I like to know the history of gamefowl as much as I can learn!
Any other history facts with game fowl and lines,breeders,etc from anyone else?
I would have loved to have learned, heck even would have loved to have lived in the Times game was legal.

Battle cross means a cross between two lines that reliably produce pit quality birds. First generation cross would be F1 while crossing back into of the parental would a "grade". You can cross back into a line multiple times resulting a product that can approach being 90% what was being crossed back into.

centrarchid explained it very well ...in the old days I would pit the Stags ...now I guess I will sell them for house pets
