are these roosters? They don't have much in the way of combs, but they hold their tails up high. I'm not very familiar with the breed. These ones wandered into my yard when they were only maybe a week old. There were three, but one of them died.
Game hens, buttermilk grey maybe

We have feral cats in the neighborhood but luckily we have a stray we named church that has adopted us. Half if one ear is bit off, he has one eye a crooked tail and walks kind of sideways but will fight off any cat that comes in the yard and doesn't mess with the birds that I know of even before the fence.
lucky! Our other problem is that cat can cause abortions in goats and carry things that if not treated can kill horses. -_-

Yup. For now they are not messing with them. But we are getting ready to do traps again (we do traps get a few...and they won't go near the place for a while. We live in a 'neighborhood' that you'll have neighbors wonder "what the?" At the two o'clock wakeup call

I get that same call at 2 when my neighbor finds raccoons going through his garbage. And a bonus of flashes outside the window
:yuckyuck sadly we got some Mennonites (? If I rember right..) acrose the road, a elder man in the same road. About three acres away another elder couple, and right beside us a elder with her son....not good to go out with the boomstick.

Indeed.

we have a major cat problem. Though quite a few have been 'relocated' to were they won't bother anyone anymore they still cause trouble. All my speciality birds are in coops off the ground and are a pain to get in -_- and our big flock...well out two roos suck on that part.though we swear our mut bantam other half is a game, he makes it clear to the big boy who's boss...the sad part is the big roo runs from him XD
he wont run forever my big game ran from my banty rooster until he was about a year old and then he alomost killed him
