what supplements do you all feed to your chicks besides starter pleas include brand.

I do purina start and grow medicated and vitamin and electrolyte powder in the water durvet or agrilabs. I don't do organic all natural I dope mine up. Always yellow water and medicated starter. I wish I could find the vitamins and electrolytes powder in a bucket I go through packets a lot ( the ones for cattle )

I may have to get me some of the big packets like they sell for the cattle normally I just get the little packets they sell in the chicken supply area. Would be cheaper getting the big packets for cattle.

The save a chick? Yeah that's a ripoff get the big yellow packet for cattle. A teaspoonish to a gal of water.

A big packet will last me about 2 weeks that's fresh water every other day or so

The big packet of corid is twice the strength for cattle also so that's a win , win about 5 times as much and twice the strength for a fraction of the price of poultry

I do not use supplements unless rearing chicks in brooder, the supplementation comes in the form of medicated chick starter to suppress cocci as the juveniles (4-5 weeks post-hatch) are transitioned to chicken tractor. I normally do not use brooders for games, rather most hen reared and I try to make so broods are free-ranged away from adults. I also try to keep hens separate from each other.
