You got some nice lookin miner blues sdm111, but this is one of your best looking birds I've seen yet(IMO). How long have you had him? Got others?

I just picked 11 Leiper hatching eggs this weekend. Half under a broody hen and the others in the incubator.

I've seen this picture on this thread many of times. It's Jungleexplorers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he never knew exactly what strain it was. He always referred to it as BBR.

He told me that the guy he got it from confirmed it is a Leiper. He still marks his eggs BBR though based on the bird's color.

Just lookin out for ya. His previous posts suggested his unfamiliarity with American game strains. Alot of strain names get thrown
around quite a bit and sometimes names get thrown at fowl just on how they look without knowing their background. I'm not saying
that's what he did but if you're going to play the name game make sure you have the right blood and know the background.
Especially if you sell.

I hear ya and thanks for looking out. He said he didn't know what line of Leiper (Harold Brown, Johnny Mitchell, etc...) but that it was a Leiper.

He acquired 3 Leiper hens from separate breeders that he is using. I have a Harold Brown Leiper hen already, I just want a good Leiper rooster for her. I've been trying to find a nice HB or Rat Graves Leiper.

Me and another person trade fowl when he wants what I have and vice versa. He knew I wanted a 5000 line and gifted him to me. I need to find a quality hen for him.
