Also which do y'all prefer: Spurred Hens or Hens with no spurs ? I don't breed to or away from it, but if I have two identical hens that are the same except one has spurs and one doesn't I will choose the hen with spurs over no spurs. I only choose her because no one near me has spurred hens, in fact most breed away from it, so I do it to set mine a part from everyone.

I am neutral as the spurred form persists but I do not select for it. There are not many situations where the spurs provide a hen advantage but I am concerned they may not be good for eggs and chicks brooded, especially with a hen that is also flighty.
