Come on, rub it in why don't you! lol I have been trying to learn a little about the genetics of spurred hens. Some have two, most none and some one. From what I have seen, the one is usually on the left leg. Does that have to do with the functional ovary in hens? I have seen a couple of mini's with one good spur on the left leg and a "soft" enlarged spur "nub" on the right.
I had a hen with 1 spur for 2 years and 1 day she decided to grow out her second spur. wierd
 
This bullstag has had a bad weak or so. He got attacked by a weasel causing strange pattern of feather loss. Then he had a couple hundred kids handle him. And his chicks are riding around on his back every chance they get. Then this happened. We had a short drive to pick up my kids before going home but truck died as we went through intersection. Could be timing chain or fuel pump. Stag had another short drive above the world. He crowed a lot when I wish he would not have.
