Aw! He's so cuuute! I am planning on harness training my Runners soon so I can take them around with me, they are so friendly and curious I am confident they will love traveling around...how old is your guy? He doesn't have his drake curl yet.
Oh, they love rooting in the leaves...I'll have to keep an eye out for eggs....hey curious...how old were everyone's ducks when they started laying, and/or did they lay in the winter?
We had snow yesterday night, and my runners ran to the water in the second I opened up the door. Their names: Klementina is the white duck (leader), the other white with the black Adidas-stripes is Jazmin, the light brown is Rizling, the brown is Furmint, and the dark brown is Karmella. The all born in summer, I think that Furmint is a drake, he is the biggest of all, we shall see.
Their "pond" is not looking cute, but very easy to manage - I just take off the bricks from the sides and lift the water out.
