Plan to set some eggs next Sat to check to see what I have hatch. I will probably sell the chicks because I don't need then but I think they will turn out very nice

I'm finally getting SDW eggs here and there.

I checked the nest box in my pen of Reid Blacks (something I do infrequently during the winter) and found 10 eggs. 2 hens, laying outside with short winter days and cold nights. I was impressed.

I'm not hatching Blacks this season, at least not now, so if someone in Northwest Arkansas or nearby wants eggs, let me know.

I usually have so many I wind up giving eggs away, but I don't ship. Collecting everything right now for incubation, but once I'm done I'll have plenty to get rid of, I'm sure.
