Show off your Old English Game Bantams!!

They are actually both fairly friendly, the first one a little more so. I haven't been able to watch them around the other girls in the past week or so, its been so cold and nasty, they've been staying in the coop alot lol but this week is supposed to warm up some. If the snow melts off, I'll let them out to free range a bit more and pay closer attention to their actions with the other birds.
How old are they?

Wow! He's very pretty Alex! How old is he?

My problem is, I have too many boys! And they are getting to that age!

I also have golden sebrights, and they were the ones I initially wanted to breed. But the OEGB's have really won my heart.

But with only 3 of them (and 2 being male) I don't know which way to turn. I have 7 GS, 3 of which are boys, so I was going to get rid of one of them, plus get rid of my 2 OEGB boys, plus another mixed boy, and keep the 4 GS girls, along with the OEGB girl, and a BTBJ girl (my only Jap), with 2 GS boys. So maybe I should just sell off all the GS, and go back small with my OEGB's and hatch more, once she starts laying. I don't know....

Thank you, if say he's about 7 months. And looks like you have some deciding to do.

I take boatloads of pics :D
These are just pets, I won't show them, but would like the best quality possible.
I only have 1 female, and 2 males, so I need to choose a male to keep soon.

Taken yesterday and today:

I like the second roo, he appears to have better color, but you can't really judge them at this point. They look a bit large, so as you breed them, I would select the smaller offspring as breeders, as size is one of the easiest things to change in a line. Seems to me SDW's are a larger variety, or at least the ones I've had. I've seen significant decreases, though, in size in second and third generation. Breed to the Standard in type and color.

I have Golden Sebrights as well. I inherited my line from my Dad when he passed, and he had some really nice ones. Wish now I had taken everything on his place, but I left some with a younger nephew because of his attachment to his Grandfather and his birds, but he let them all die. I should've have known better. I've managed to keep them going though, and should have something worth showing next year.

SDW's have been the easiest of my birds to reproduce, and mine had really good hatch rates. Such is not the case with all varieties, especially when you buy from lines that have been bred for a while. Chicks are vigorous, especially when the parents are a little larger than they should be. I really like them, just didn't have room for them with all the other varieties I breed.
