So, do you eat their eggs? Do they taste good?
I'm just wondering, I can understand just owning them for looks as well, but my DH would never go for that!

Yes I have eaten them,only one that have small cracks. The eggs are worth alot more as hatching eggs.

Taste about the same as a turkey egg.

while i was watering this mornin,, my boy was about 2 feet from me,, and POOOF,, feathers everywhere lol,, scared the puddin outta me

he's never done it before with me that close lol.

Nice pic Jim, your peafowl will be ready to bred soon.You still have a link how to place the eggs in the sportsman incubator. My guess you will have eggs in March.

and they better breed this year !! i got 4 eggs end of last season, but they were no good,, so hopefully,,,,, and im hoping to have them in a way better pen and coop by march,, im trying to get another hen old enough for breeding.
