Show off your Peas!

we may actually come to FL next spring, my hubbys mom has a time share or something like that. i could bring her :) i don't think my husband will let me bring the peas tho :( i'll miss them.

My cousins from Kentucky are in FL now for a week...on the beach and they are loving it....went to visit them yesterday. I'm going to miss my baby peas when I go on vacation this month

...they're still babies and not sure how they are going to take it.
We are enjoying your talents free. You are diffinately a winner here. I think I can speak for everyone on here and THANK YOU, very much.
I SECOND THAT!!!

I love your free range photos Zaz...I tried to let out two peahens to free range last month but they didn't want to walk out of the pen even with treats out on the ground. Eventually one of these days I will have a few walking around freely. For now the peachicks are walking out of the pen searching for bugs then comming back into the pen. It is cute watching them free-range.

Great photos everyone!

We blend very well in the forest.

This is one of the guardians of the forest, he and his roo buddy are always posted somewhere in the woods as a look out, he is blind in one eye thanks toa coopers hawk, now he is out for revenge.

That's a big open area of sand compared to all your green shots..do you have horses? Oh, and I'm sure that possum did not have a happy ending. I was tolerant of them until they started showing up on my porch and eating eggs...now they are on the same level with the coons...fair game if we catch you :)

NateinFL i use to have horses but that area is where the birds kill everything it is around the barn.

Countrygirl i turn mine loose the day they turn 4 months old, did not do anything special, they will need to be kept an eye on cause once they get fearless they start chasing critters that don't belong here or so the peas think. I don't know how they would do if i had neighbors they pretty much stay close to home but have dissapeared overnight once, i finely figured out where they were and they were still on my land but they were up in a tree and would not answer back to my callings, they were very naughty peas that time.
I have dogs to keep an eye on things and make rounds with them daily weather permitting, but when the weather is bad all the birds are up at the barn or the greenhouse.
