Figured I would share a little pea love!

Gizmo, sleeping off Christmas dinner at my mom's house:



And my two new pied females from this summer....

Sola (the day I brought her home):



And Luna (again from the day I brought them home!)



Aurora, my oldest pied girl (she'll be 4 this summer), went broody over the summer for the first time.



I took the eggs away from her, which she was pretty mad about, but they weren't fertile anyway.

Those three pieds will be the girls of my first newly-built pen in the spring!

Wow beautiful pied girls!!! I just love pieds! It is so hard having just one pied, I really hope that when I breed my pied peahen to my white peacock I will get some pied chicks, but with my luck all I will get is whites and splits!

No way! I totally expect some pretty pieds out of your damsel! You'll have to show us all the pictures

He did, but it was just the "i'm talking because I exist" noise he usually makes.

What's REALLY funny? He will not do this any more. It took him 3 or 4 times of playing with the laser light before Gizmo realized the light was coming from the pointer in my hand, and now if I take out the light, he hunkers down rather sullenly and glares at the pointer, and if I put it near him, he attacks it. It's like he feels betrayed!

By the way, Destinduck? Those are some great shots of a really beautiful bird! wow!

I know they say Laser lights can make Rottweilers OCD or somthing to that affect and to never to play with them with one.

Great pictures destinduck. Nice tragopan also! I showed my dad those pictures because I want ruddy ducks and love tree ducks, so I thought the size comparison would help, but it didn't.

So it's not a real pea, but I'm so excited over what I found at the quilt store! My girls are even excited to help sew this quilt
