Show off your Peas!

Hey fabulous peapeople,
It might be better to keep this "2+2=5" discussion on its own World 'O Fantasy thread, dontcha think?
(Just a suggestion...not wanting to step on any toes)

When a gentle bird will attack you for the first time and it's the same situation then obviously I'm hurting the bird and I really don't want to hurt my birds. I'm not complaining about the pain I can take pain, I've been kicked by horses and cattle. When I was 3 and 1/2 I went out to the field to go pet a calf then momma came and I got her head pushed into my gut, for my first year showing beef last year last year I got thrown by my steer I was in the air. I got back up brushed my self off caught my steer and then tied him up and punished him with time. 7 years old I fell down a bookshelf hit a paint can and had my skull chipped by the claw of the hammer and I broke the hammer. I can take pain I don't complain when it comes to pain.

If you plan on showing an animal ain't the judges suppose to be able to handle the animal, to check conformation and look for defects and such? You should be able to handle your show stock at all times, i grew up showing in 4-H and that was a must.

Besides you show photos of your bird on your arm and and on a fence rail so what is the problem with getting a decent photo? you do not need to get an inch from the bird, step back and take one in focus and crop it,
i set my resolution high on my camera and am able to get much better photos from farther away.

I can have other people do handle my birds and stuff. I take photos with my cell phone which is not a smart phone it's a Samsung intensity 3 so the camera isn't that good same for my digital camera. I get good photos from my mom's camera and she doesn't usually get home til 5:30 6:00 so if I were to take a pic with my mom's camera then it will be dark and won't do me any good. I can get photos but he quality not so much. Or at least that's what you guys have told me when it comes to some photos.

Look , i handle 100's a year not all flapping is due from pain, they are prey animals it is in their DNA to fight for flight when you go grabbing on them when they are not use to it.

Sounds like you got alot to learn about reading animals after seeing all the incidents with them .
I can now see you really do have a hard head fer real with them hammers and all

OH TAE

He didn't try to fly until I was almost dragging him off the carrier and then when I put my hand on him to have it so I'm not dragging him he then freaked out when I tried again. I don't think it was grabbing him in an unusual way I think it was pain if the situation was like this.

Okay, so let me see if I've got all this straight. You have a 100% pure bred, late blooming, progressive pied, slightly dwarfish, new color mutation male Peacock, who for some reason has fooled every single person on this forum(except you) into thinking he is a hen. That about sum it all up? That bird's gotta be worth millions.
