Thanks Kuntry.

The hatching season is over here for all my birds, i said i wasn't gonna hatch much this year cause i made alot off my grown guineas this year but my hens had other ideas so as they hatch i would put the babies in the brooder till they are old enough to safely be free ranged, so now i gotta clean and paint the brooder for the next season

and to think i thought i could skip that next season ...

I am so jealous. You have a Pea Paradise over there. :love I could take a seat and just watch your peas all day long while sipping on a cold glass of ice tea.

Do you let your girls hatch their own eggs or do you put your pea eggs in the incubator?

I only hatched out 3 peas this year but I'm still excited. I hope to hatch out more peas next year. This year was my first year EVERY owning and using an incubator.

I will have to take pics of my 3 babies this weekend so that I can post. My white pea "Prince" is getting so big.:D

Gorgeous pictures as always Zazouse, especially the first two pictures with all those young males displaying their little feathered rumps

Yea it has been 4 weeks today that i got them, they just needed some special feed, alot of room and sunshine
this fella is soo sweet.

He is so proud.

this fella is a pecker, caught him plucking the fluff feathers off the other males butt when thay fan, he is eating them so hopefully his protein level will get back up to where it needs to be so he will stop, he also likes to bully the little guinea Keats but they have learned to keep their distance when he gets that evil look in his eye.

my kids refuse to fan =( its been over 2 months since ive seen anyone fan.
its a major bummer

oh and construction on their new home starts today =) it will be sooo much bigger.

half the peas will stay here and free range in the spring . (the white, purple pair and young blue)
and my special kids (piper, poppy, the 3 pieds and pearl) are going with me to a new home

Peas have their own personalites, my yearling pied male never makes the matting call but has most oif the girls and coves them already, where as the other 3 males fan their buts off, scream like banchees all threw the breeding season and not one hen pays them any mind, it is like they just put up with them because they are part of the flock lol
