Show off your Peas!

The earliest date I can find is 10-9-2009, but I thought I bought them in September... I bought 2 Peachicks and a Turkey at an Auction.

This photo was taken December 15, 2009 of the same two in the above photo Sicily and Handsome... sadly the peachick (Sicily) on the left was killed by something that got into my coop the following spring.

Also photo from 12-15-2009, of the Peacock that I still have today, I call him Handsome.

This is Handsome Spring 2012!

I took this photo about a week ago, Handsome is showing off for my Royal Palm Tom... I think they are trying to figure out who is more handsome (don't tell Frances, but Handsome wins that one hands down)

Handsome hanging out in the barn watching cars as they drive past...

I hope you enjoyed my Handsome!

Zaz- your pics of the peas and that cottonmouth remind me of this video I saw on youtube a while back...peacocks walking right up to a bald eagle.

Yea my peas are just like that, they will take after anything, i think thats how they ended up in the woods the other night, harassing something.
That is a banded water snake, i do have a Cotton mouth about the same size in one of my ponds, i keep brush hogging the edge of the pond down into the water but it just won't leave and it gives me the stink eye when it sees me, i am not worried about me and the animals but do worry about my DH he don't always pay attention where he is stepping when around the ponds.

The doggie is like "Ok, your snake take out dinner is here."
Peas "Cool, set it down there and we will eat it after our spa treatment."

Nice having pets that help keep the varmits under control for ya.
