Show off your Peas!

Welcome...looking forward to seeing the pics. : )
Thanks for the info -- yes I'm bad & need to get updated pics of my peas -- I promise I will !!! husband has been out of town & I've been swamped trying to hold down the fort in the meantime!

Snow White for the goose? she's a beauty!

She looks like a Geraldine to me.
Geraldine and Snow White.....putting on my thinking cap....

Thanks for the recipe. I think I will try making them and hanging them from fishing string. Hopefully they will enjoy and have something to play with at the same time. I will be watching next household sale for pea cake pans, ha. The way my family goes through and grabs what ever I cook I will have to mark them out of the oven for peacocks.

My peas will not eat anything they have to work at so a hard block would just be eaten up by my chickens but i found that they do like this .
bring water to a boil in a rice cooker add about a dozen or more eggs when the water turns white add oatmeal, stir for a min.. or two then add sunflower seeds , ultra kibble or whatever, let cool, dish up and serve.

Do you crack the eggs into the rice cooker, or just let them hard boil?

I crack them and stir it a bit alot of times the yokes cook whole if i miss stiring it up good and yokes are everyones fav...
i use eggs for the base for alot of animal foods i make because it is a perfect food for every animal i have on my place even the wild critters get some.

We've trapped 2-3 coons the last couple of days, along with some coyotes. We trapped one yesterday that was a big'n. Wouldn't want him in my hen house.

May have to try your recipe today. : )

Aspen you need some good dogs.
These 2 caught 5 in one week, looks like momma kicked them out of the nest to fast they did not know to stay out of the safe zone

And a few snakes also, never stand near these dogs when they are after a snake they grab them and hurl them right where you are standing, i like snakes but not flying ones.

I sure do. Sadly, the men folk around here hate those kind of dogs, so that is why I don't have any. We actually used to breed Anatolian Shepards. They were great dogs. We never had a problem with critters...until they passed away. I'll get some again..somtime.
