Show off your Peas!

Thank you.

It's 10' x 10' x 6'. The panels are 6ft high. We used 4 panels. I think we payed about $130.00 for the whole setup (the run). We still need to put a top on it. The good thing about these panels is they are uber easy to take apart and set back up. In the future, when I add more panels I can expand my run to make it bigger, separate it, etc. Where are the pictures of your peachicks?

Can I ask where did you buy your pen. I was looking at Home Depot and they run around $219 to $250 and I think they are one unit not separate panels. Maybe I'm not calling them the right thing on internet.

I'll do that. Thank you. I'm a big craigslist shopper never thought about the pen for that.

I had such a short experience with peas (before a varmint killed my beautiful pea hen, Frankie), but quickly learned how much she loved my cornbread. Very easy recipe with sour cream, creamed corn and a few tablespoons of olive oil in it. I only gave her a 1 inch piece morning and evening since I wanted her to eat her more nutritious feed. Frankie had no problem though in spying the yellow cornbread mixed in with the fresh veggies and her feed.

I bought it at TSC. They were having a sell, I got it for $230.00 something....sorry I mistyped, I didn't mean to say $130.00. They usually sell for about $330.00 I think. Check Craigslist, you might be able to find something cheaper.

Sorry about your peahen Martha. That sounds yummy!! My peachicks ate some of my new creation today. It was 'bread' with left over tuna, mexican something or other, peas, and I know not what! They loved it. Although, I must say their favorite treat is ... my fingers. *sigh* Every time I open the door to their hutch they seriously attack my fingers trying to eat them. Silly peas!
