Show off your Peas!

One other thing. I have had my breeding peas in 4 pens. Breeding season is over. I tried letting 2 pens together, not only do the males hassle each other but the hens do too. Is it safe just to let them just go at it for a while.? I let the gate open to two pens for about an hour and decided maybe I best separate them again till I asked. They just are at each other continuously.
I put the little ones Pecky and Pokey, outside today in the pen on the cement. Their pen is really small, hope to extend it real soon. It gives them a start though. So cute to see how scared they were then how curious they got real soon.
The new babies Perky and Pepsi go out to the shed tomorrow. I have a cage that they can get use to Pecky and Pokey. It has bigger holes on the back where after about a week I can pull it out then they can go in and out if the bigger ones pick on them.

Well, I just have to show off Mr. Chuffy.
I think he's beautiful, although he is a bit tattered in spots.
He's the real old timer around here - he's around 23 years old.
He is a very mild mannered and sweet old fellow, and a bit nervous; who knows what he has encountered over the years?

poppy. i just love butt shots
first time in months i seen him fan

and everyone simply ignored him.

poor boy. no one even boosted his ego a little.
and pardon the ratty tail on the silver pied. she keeps deciding to be not so smart and ending up behind the perch so she has ruined her tail.

Very pretty peas, i have 3 that never miss a day fanning and 2 that i rarely see fanning, the ones that fan all the time have no girls but the ones that rarely fan have 7 girls between them.
