Are peacocks mean? I want to get one or two, but my mom says no, because the are mean. Can they be kept with chickens? Thanks

My peas are not mean, but my roosters are LOL. Mine are kept with the chickens and I have no problems. Peacocks are really loud and because of this you need to check to see if you can legally keep them. If you are NOT allowed roosters then you cannot have peafowl - well only hens.

That is my little spalding Sidney i am pretty sure it is a hen, i was hoping it was a boy but i still got a white boy out of this batch,
i named him MR Tubbs, it means tough ,unique, bad, bold and sassy




MR Tubbs is a big boy but very sweet.

I'm hoping for all white peas next year. I only have 1 white pea (Prince) and he is a handful. He soared in the air the distance of 1 acre on yesterday. I was amazed at how high and how far he could fly. I was speechless. He looked like an eagle soaring in the sky.

He is a beauty, you should be around a whole flock taking off all at once it is like getting blasted with the air of fans all around, it is amazing the power you feel in the turblane they cause in the air.
