Show off your Peas!

Zaz, I gotta ask... if I ever stop laughing... who's the pea with the white bunny tail? That's just too too tutu

His name is Pie

Turtee is too regal to jump, but she is all dolled up in her thick white winter parka these days! My son now calls her the "Goddess".

I've no idea how the mind of a 9 year old boy works???

Been meaning to get to this... I see a DEFINITE resemblance:

And BTW, I just learned something. You may not wanna let your 9 year old search the internet using the search term "greek goddess" and I promise I won't do it again either

(Turns out some of them wear less clothes than your turkey goddess...)

Oh goodness I learned about that in art history class. My friends thought it was funny that I put censor bars on my study guide. Also people think it is weird that I insist on taking an alternative for nude figure drawing class...it is required for graphic design and I don't care for that kind of art no matter what the teachers say. I will proudly take the alternative. :)
I heard one of my peacocks do a peacock call the other day and I couldn't believe it. I have never heard them call out of season and I thought they couldn't call out of season.

X2 on the drawing thing... sometimes it's just too much.

Do your boys have trains yet? Mine have been calling for several weeks, starting with the one with the longest train, then the others started a couple weeks later. I heard the neighbor's pea calling today, and I know my neighbor doesn't use any heat or lamps or heat bulbs or anything out there for his birds.

I can't figure out what got the hen laying, though... do you think the incessant calling could have gotten her confused too? Or do you think it might be this crazy weather? I was attributing it to the first, hard cold spell (when that freeze came down from the pole), followed by the warm weather... if I were a pea, I could have been confused into thinking it was spring and time to get with the program..

As of tonight, I now have 5 eggs
