well I would say prolly a pretty quarter....lol...(four k for each greenhouse...which there is two...two on the pheasant coop with the 8x10 closure and another two on the new project...and that's not even including the pea place out front...which will be around three k) so yeah and I havnt even put on the roof which wont be cheap...
talk about postponing the work for a day...most of the day I was shoveling to the coops and making room to work and shoveling out the new coops (3) of them ....but making progress

just took that picture before night...they are doing the one leg dance...im thinking they are cold...im just glad the greenhouse is 20 degrees warmer then outside..

I'm assuming that the roost they are perching on one-leggedly is a wood 2x4 set horizontally so they sit on the wide flat side, and is not a metal purlin. Since a metal purlin would be awfully cold....

But if you would like to provide a significant QOL improvement, wrap that 2x4 with carpeting and staple on the underside (so no staples encounter pea feet ever)... you can actually spread a layer of glue when you wrap, which will make it not shift or move when they land. My peas like the carpet-wrapped board MUCH better than the old not wrapped one.

I do not recommend heat tape, since using the wrong kind of heat tape can burn pea toes as badly as frost bite, and result in terminal injuries (feet falling off). So I don't think heat tape is safe.

But plain carpet, glued down and stapled underneath is just wonderful.
