Show off your Peas!

Went out to the coop for first time today!!! Yea!! I did lose a little silkie pullet, she was mostly blind and I think she wasn't handling cold plus finding food. Sis didn't notice she was ailing, but good news, all the peas are doing great it looked like, just took a quick gander as had to dispose of my baby. :(

Answers leg looked like it might have improved a little, being shut up with soft dirt probably helped him a bit.
Will try to get pics when weather warms up and I am a bit less disabled. Lordamercy, I sure missed my birdies!

Destinduck, nice to see you. Love how your birds train looks pink in certain lighting!

No fun being cooped up is it? Well, it's a lot better than being out in the cold. Glad to hear that you are feeling better, just pace yourself and don't overdo it.

I need to get out there and oregano my birds, since my chickens and peas are housed together! Good thing I dosed the babies about two weeks before I got sick.

I had my little silkie in the house back early December, when I used eye drops her sight improved, but not enough I guess. She was a pretty little light gray and I was growing fond of her as a house chook.

Yes, kskingbee, was great to get out even for a few minutes!!! Tomorrow follow up doc visit, gonna be a very long day. Then, if it warms up I can let the birdies out for sun. Let's hope for 40's by Thursday!!!

Basting brush! Too funny. I get a visual somewhat like chasing them down with the Sevin powderpuff! Which reminds me, I DO need to dust again. Ack! Hate hate mites!
