Oh me too! I planted a couple tiny pecan trees and sure anxious to see if they lived through the winter. I swear, we have an acre plus and not one tree in the yard! What were they thinking??!!

Thanks thndrdancer, Ive always liked that they have that. But with the naked eye you can always see it. Ive had people think I color enhance em till they get to the house and see em. Ha ha! .

I am not ready for the peas to start laying it has been so wet i have not been able to cut down any tress for the nest sites, i must get this done or i am going to have a fun time finding their all nest

Sorry... I meant that it won't be long until Spring! No my guineas are not laying yet. We just through killing a coyote chasing them!

so I had a question...do peafowl reproduce during different times based on location in the united states....I see some from ok that are hatching..

Read the entire article. I was referring to the fact that I would be glad when it was spring. It was last yrs hatching. We only precede the extreme north by about 2 to 3 weeks. It gets cold here too!

P.S. I did have 2 guineas mate last week but I think they were only practicing! I haven't found any nest with eggs yet! Only nest!
