Show off your Peas!

Peep is friendly to everyone. If say you came to see Peep, it doesn't matter if he has just met you he will let you pet him and everything. When my boyfriend first met Peep he was on a perch and my boyfriend walked up and pet Peep and Peep leaned down and pecked at my boyfriend's curly hair. XD Peep will also follow anyone around. He mainly follows me but if I am not around he will follow around any human. When I come to feed them he stays right next to me most of the time even if I throw out treats he doesn't run to get them he just stands next to me so I throw out some food and then hand feed some to him. I guess he knows I will feed it to him anyways so why run after it? When I leave the pen Peep finally starts to eat more food, but when I am in the pen he is more interested in following me around than leaving me to eat out of a dish unless I stay for a long time then he will finally walk off and eat something.

My P-Dawg is the same way. Loves people! It's because of this that he now has to be locked up. If he's loose and can't find a "person" in the yard, he'll go looking elsewhere. My neighbors now call animal control if my birds hop the fence and he could get hit by a car if he were to hop the other fences. Before my neighbors decided that they didn't like the free eggs, P-Dawg used to hang out with them while they where gardening...

That is cool about peeps Minxfox. If you are ever over this way you are more than welcome to come see my birds. Because one day I would love to see peeps and the rest of your gang. I will go ahead and try to post the pics a little early tommorrow of the pen addition if it aint raining. New2pfowl. I only have the one peacock .But I will try and take more pics of him tommorrow. I wouldnt mind to have some other types but I dont want to tick off the neighbors. (the noise) They all love the birds and I want to keep it that way.Thats why I will have to keep only the greens.I just got told by one of my friends I need another male. Must...resist! LOL! Beautiful birds everyone. Keep on posting them great pics. That is one thing I never tire of.

Thanks destinduck! I would definately love to visit someday and see your setup! Ducks are really cool and I would love to see all of your quackers! You can come see my birds and hand feed them. Peep will let you pet him too.

Okay first, let me explain....I was taking some photos of my boyfriend standing next to a stump that Peep my 2 year old peacock was standing on, and Peep leaned over and "kissed" my boyfriend right as I was taking a photo. I told my boyfriend to watch out for Peep. Luckily Peep doesn't peck very hard so it didn't hurt my boyfriend, but it made for a very funny moment and then I edited the picture to put the hearts and I like to always tell my boyfriend now that Peep really loves him and misses him. XD
