Show off your Peas!

You do have McMurray Hatchery in Iowa. Never bought any peafowl from there though I just have catalogs from them and remember them listing all sorts of peafowl.

His white spot on the throat is hidden in the last 2 pictures, that's why I thought it was 2 different birds. My mistake. He is very nice, I hope I don't regret trading my Bronze Barred wing.

I don't blame you, he changes during the year, especially when he molts, sometimes i can see the white spot from far distance and sometimes its totally hidden, this one is my favorite, he is different, i like everything about him, his moves, his size and of course the chicks he hatch

I wish my green male would let me take a picture like this, he will directly close his fan when he sees me

Hopefully he will stop doing that with a little time. My white peacock used to do that. I would have to hide to get photos of him fanning his train.

Now he will display right in front of me.

How old is your green male? It wasn't until the end of last year's breeding season that my white peacock displayed in front of me and let me take photos.

We're in central Illinois. Don't know if I want to trade a female or just get them a male. Is it ok 1 male with 2 females?
