Show off your Peas!

Is Peaches the pied peach hen you got a few months ago?

Argon looks good absolutely!
Thank you. Yes Peaches is the little pied, but my pictures don't make her look "peachey" at all do they? I had something set wrong again on the camera, every now and then I set something wrong and all my pictures come out looking blue/gray, I just can't figure that camera out. She is actually a good bit more orange looking in person.

Argon is looking pretty nice. We have talked about how the splits for white and pied and WE show up, what would you guess his is? The primaries on the left wing all fade to white at the tip except the very last one which is white.

Your pictures are fine, i think its just the cloudy weather hiding her peach color from appearing in the pictures, i'm still trying to learn how to to tell peach hens from cameo hens, last week i saw someone selling peach hens but i couldn't be sure if they are peach or not.

Argon of course split to something, with all these white feathers i would guess he is split to white, and maybe w/e?

As far as I know Argon's father was Bronze BS, there was a Bronze WE split pied hen, an IBBS split Bronze hen, and 2 Bronze hens with unknown splits. None are known to be split white, but it could be hidden. As far as the Peach color goes, another problem I am seeing is that new plumage seems to be very orange when it comes in, but as it ages it seems to lose some of that orange color. She's got a couple new feathers on her wings and they look almost reddish-orange compared to the rest of her feathers which look like a very pale tan.

I think it is funny that we live in the same state but I had 34 degrees here!

That's terrible!

I can't tell withe the pix. It is not a BS hen they are off with with dk spots on their back. The BS males look almost like the IB males except they have black shoulders.
