Show off your Peas!

Pics
Oh boy, thanks for the pictures.
They are so incredibly cute!
It's hard to tell, but it looks like Chocobo might be starting to fill out?

I wish Twig and Sprig would sit on my shoulder!
But whenever they get too close to me, Mom makes that "Look out!! Predator!!" clucking and they scurry right back over to her.
Oh well.

NICE SHOTS!!! How do you tell your whites apart, or do you?

I was thinking the same thing...he is definitely perkier but still a bit runty. He cannot fly I also had to trim his wing feathers b/c they were growing every which way and he looked like he was wearing a frilly dress. He'll probably always be "special".

One of them has a faint green feather on her head, one has lots of yellow around her eyes and the other seems to have dirty leggs all the time from soaking them in the muddy creek.

you can bearly see the faint green feather on the right peas head and see how much yellow the other had on her face.
i did enhance it a bit so the color would show better .

I figured you would be able to tell them apart...are they all hens? That green feather looks like a grass stain. The muddy feet one makes me laugh!

Some pictures from last month, of me and my "kids" having 'banana splits' for dinner to participate in this event: https://www.facebook.com/events/390131587688891/ I don't (and can't and don't want to) have human kids, so me and the peas had bananas dipped in plain greek yogurt instead. And you'd have thought they were all certain they were never ever ever going to get treats ever again with how excited they were about the greek yogurt. Even Octavian, who is very shy usually, came over and got in on the yogurt action! Aurora wasn't fast enough to get pure yogurt, but I dipped a few banana slices and tossed them at her feet. Everyone enjoyed the day!

Contemplating another bite...

Yogurt face!

Neither of them would eat it out of the container. ONLY off my fingers or the small forked stick I found when my fingers got sore!

Bananas were also a hit

Searching for leftovers

Sorry they're all close ups pretty much- Blu and Osiris were pretty much in my lap the entire time trying to get to the yogurt first. While hilarious, it made it hard to take pictures

I also had to clean the camera following this... yogurt everywhere. And they ate all the grass the yogurt fell onto, and they didn't let the roosters get any of it.

Because I wondered if she'd do it:
"Really mom? With the camera?"

"Well, ok."

Great pictures, Kedreeva!
I tried to get Peggy to eat yogurt when he was on medication, but he wasn't interested...I didn't try it on my fingers, though!
Mr. Skittles has just discovered the magic of blueberries, and he gets right in my face when he's trying to tell if I have any blueberries about my person...but I don't think I'd risk the teeth-to-beak transfer (I have done it with a parrot and it is quite sweet).

Kedreeva, very cool pics of the bananas, I have never fed mine them. Morrison won't eat out of my hand but I am able to walk up behind him when he's in full display and run my hand through his tail, he knows I'm doing it but doesn't care...he's got other things on his mind! I really like Osiris and want an opal but I don't think that's happening anytime soon since I only have an acre and I've put forth the effort with the silver pied babies. I don't have any human kids either...I love kids but you know the saying...it takes 2 and I haven't found my #2 and I'm almost 30 so...yeah.

Zaz, I love that pic of her. The clarity is awesome. She's cameo, right? Does she have a name?

Here's a pic of my friend's son, he's almost 2 and he just LOVED the peachicks until Chocobo pecked him right in the eye. (I know the pain b/c Shadow did it to me twice) After that I had to put them back in their playpen as he was terrified. Poor kid will now be forever afraid of birds ;(.
